Greenwood Valley Action Track   Memorial race 35 lapper $500 to win in 270s $1500 to win in 600s Did not make feature tight in heat then put hard compound spec tire on in consi because we were afraid of burning the tire off in feature and way to loose 5th in consi.out of 37 cars 5th in rookies out of 27 cars 4/12/08 Sat. Greenwood Valley Action Track 14th in the regulars went with soft tires in the feature like we should have the week before and burnt them off which caused us to be loose. 2nd in rookies 4/19/08 Brians  B-day   Sat. Hamlin speedway   Opening day no points 3rd out of 18 DNF 17 out of 18   up to 12th got held up behind lapped car and swerved around, got together with another car and spun around and snapped the connectiong rod and took out the jug. 4/26/08 Sat. Hamlin speedway   points start   Cancelled Cancelled Cancelled 5/3/08 Sat. Hamlin Speedway 3rd out of 17 14 out of 17 5/10/08 Sat. Hamlin Speedway  last minute change in plans we went up to gvat to pick up Marks new 600 micro sprint. First day driving his new #30r 600 did not finish in the heat and got 4th in the b main only taking top 2.  Have an on board video wth pictures and video from the stands of the entire weekend practice heat and B-main. started 10th finished 2nd in the rookies class at gvat. 5/17/08 Sat Hamlin Speedway rained out but finished 3rd in the make up feature on 5/31/08 Rained out but finished 5th in the make up on 5/31/08 5/24/08 Sat. Hamlin Speedway   twin 20's first feature started 4th and finished 1st made pass for the lead on the last lap.  Ran his fastest lap all season and 2nd fastest lap at Hamlin speedway for 2008.   Second feature started 3rd finished 2nd went for the lead and got together in lap traffic.   out of 19 cars 14th in the first feature and 17th in the second feature.   5/31/08 Sat. Hamlin Speedway 3rd bad air quality and engine would not rev higher than 9200rpm when normaly we get 9500rpm. 8th out of 9 dnf got taken out one lap in. 6/6/08 Fri. Hamlin Speedway "Spring into Summer Sizzler lll" NO Micros  But we are still going up to camp Friday night into saturday. NO micos NO micros 6/7/08 Sat. Hamlin Speedway Micro sprint heat and feature race.  extended feature and double points Nascar crew challenge with Autograph Session 3rd   6/14/08 Sat. *****UPDATE********** The Gilmore Racing Team is taking off from racing this weekend. The team will be in the garage working on the race cars instead.  Mark's 600 micro was not race ready yet to run at gvat.  They will be working on maintanance for the 270's and repairs on the 600.   6/21/08 Sat. Hamlin Speedway     6/28/08 Sat. Hamlin Speedway -Mark started 2nd in his heat and finished 3rd, car was tight so we made adjustments before feature and started on the pole position and led by a straight away until 4 laps to go when the engine threw a rod. DNF Brian had bad luck from an engine not running right to people crashing in front of him bending his front end.  Brian was not able to finish the feature. 7/4/08 Fri. Hamlin Speedway No micros racing tonight so we are just going to be camping Friday night into Saturday.     7/5/08 Sat. Hamlin speedway Micro sprints heats and twin 20's Mark started 11th in the first feature and finished 6th.  Mark started 6th in the second feature and also finished 6th. Brian did not race this weekend because we only had one engine that we borrowed because both of our engines were getting rebuilt. 7/12/08 Sat. Hamlin Speedway Mark won his 2nd win in 2008!!!!!!! Brain had a strong 7th but fell back to 8th after getting caught up behind another driver. 7/19/08 Sat. Hamlin Speedway Mark Started 4th spun on the first lap in turn 3 and 4 and bent his front bumper.  Then he worked his way up to 5th position and spun again due to drivers getting together in front of him and slowing down.  Starting at the back again Mark worked his way up threw the feild again.  mark was in 3rd and made a pass for 2nd on the last lap going into turn 3.  The pass was sucessful and mark Finished 2nd.   7/26/08 Sat. Hamlin Speedway Mark started 4th in his heat race and made an outside pass in turn 1 and 2 for 2nd on the first lap. Mark finished his head in the second position.  Then mark started 6th in the feature and made an outside pass on the first lap moving him up to 3rd.  Then later in the race made another pass for his finishing spot of 2nd place. Brian got together in an accident early in the race and recovered with a 10th place finish out of 18 cars. 8/2/08 Sat. Hamlin speedway Mark started 10th and worked his way through the pack and Won his third feature race. Mark also got awarded the Hamlin Speedway Driver of the week and earned the Hard charger award. Brian started in the pole position and had to deal with an engine that was not running right and did not finish the race due to engine and transmission problems. DNF 8/9/08 Sat. G.V.A.T. Hamlin speedway is closed for this weekend so Mark will be running his 600 micro sprint and Brian will be running in the rookie class with his 270 micro sprint at greenwood valley action track.     8/16/08 Sat.
